2026年10月20日，2026年国际科学理事会（International Science Council，ISC）中期会员大会暨北京科学对话卫星会九：“未来地球和气候变化科学”将在北京举行。本次会议由国际科学理事会、未来地球计划（Future  Earth）等有关机构共同组织，汇聚国内外专家学者，紧扣“复杂世界中的科学——科学共创美好未来”大会主题，围绕未来地球、地球系统科学、气候变化及相关国际科学合作开展交流研讨。

On 20 October 2026, Satellite Symposium 9 : "Future Earth and Climate Change Science"—held in conjunction with the 2026 ISC Mid-term Members' Meeting and the Beijing Science Dialogue—will take place in Beijing. The symposium is jointly organized by the International Science Council (ISC), Future Earth, and other relevant institutions, bringing together domestic and international experts and scholars. It closely aligns with the overarching theme of the Meeting—"Science in a Complex World: Science for a Better Future"—and will facilitate exchanges and discussions focused on Future Earth, Earth system science, climate change, and related international scientific collaboration.

作为2026年国际科学理事会中期会员大会暨北京科学对话的重要组成部分，卫星会九将汇聚国际科学理事会、未来地球计划、国际大地测量与地球物理学联合会（IUGG）、世界气候研究计划（WCRP）等国际科学计划与学术组织代表，围绕地球系统科学与气候变化前沿作特邀报告；同时，特设Future Earth、IUGG、IPCC三大专题研讨，并举办青年科学家论坛与圆桌对话，搭建跨学科、跨代际平台，推动前沿认知转化为可持续治理方案，为全球应对气候变化提供科学支撑。

As an important component of the 2026 ISC Mid-term Members' Meeting and the Beijing Science Dialogue, Satellite Symposium 9 will convene representatives from international scientific programs and academic organizations, including the ISC, Future Earth, the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG), and the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP), to deliver invited presentations on the frontiers of Earth system science and climate change. In addition, three special panel discussions will be held on Future Earth, IUGG, and IPCC, together with a Young Scientists Forum and a round-table discussion. These activities aim to build an interdisciplinary and intergenerational platform that translates cutting-edge knowledge into sustainable governance solutions and provides scientific support for global climate change response.
